Approach

Rheann Kennedy Perinatal Grief and Loss Counselling’s core principles are openness, trust and compassion. With warmth and understanding, Rheann supports women and couples facing situations, including but not limited to, pregnancy loss, termination of pregnancy, stillbirth, and neonatal loss in a non-judgemental and safe space.

Rheann is dedicated to meeting you exactly where you are on your grief journey. She will honour the uniqueness of each parent's situation, using frameworks on grief and loss to help you feel truly understood and heard as you make sense of your own experience.

Rheann is dedicated to walking alongside you as you navigate what can be an overwhelming and isolating life event.

For those facing unexpected prenatal findings, she will gently work with you to process information and explore your thoughts and feelings regarding your pregnancy options. This may include outcomes such as termination of pregnancy for medical reasons or continuing your pregnancy.

Rheann is a Medicare-approved perinatal counsellor. Please refer to FAQs for further information about how to claim a Medicare rebate.

Grief is a natural response to loss. Over time, it becomes a part of you, helping you navigate life with new understanding and strength.
